LWF-Brook90

Das Modell LWF-Brook90 (Hammel und Kennel, 2001) simuliert den Wasserhaushalt eines Waldstandortes. Dabei werden die einzelnen Komponenten der Verdunstung sowie die Wasserflüsse im Boden berechnet. Das Modell wird seit vielen Jahren international eingesetzt und auch in Deutschland von den Forstlichen Forschungsanstalten der Länder für standortbezogene Wasserhaushaltsberechnungen genutzt, um Wasserflüsse, Bodenfeuchte und Trockenstress für Waldstandorte abzuschätzen. LWF-Brook90 basiert auf dem Modell Brook90 (Federer, 2002; Federer et al., 2003), und wurde an der Bayrischen Landesanstalt für Wald und Forstwirtschaft LWF modifiziert und erweitert (DWD).
